One of my values in life is to be authentic in whatever i do. I hold a firm belief in keeping ones self and ones own lifestyle. Through this project, i have been able to grow in my authenticity by leraning more about my cultural, familial, stereotypical, “other”, and heroic identities. I am now able to see myself in a new way and i am able to see my culture grow.
My goals are simple. I would like to be close to my identities and never leave them. they are important to me, and it is important to me to express it. I would also want to grow in my identities by becoming mor of myself and less of other people.
My solution is that ones identity is ones life, and if one chooses to ignore their cultures call to them, then they are ignoring life itself. My identity is my life. I run on my culture, i run on my family’s love, i run on stereotypes against me, i run on my “other” view, and i thrive on my heroes.
